Kotor - Budva [19-06-08]

Breakfast for the day was omelette with ham. And then it was off to Budva for a beach outing. Budva was extremely touristy and was packed with lots of people. The sky was clear, water was so tempting, and the six of us changed into our beachwear and darted off to find a nice spot to lie in the sun. Jeremy and I decided to cross over to the other side of the jetty to plunge into the Adriatic sea. Both of us plunged in and it was really salty albeit refreshing. We tried to get up to the jetty from the water but it was a bit too high. So we tried to get up a boat to get onto the jetty. We got up and lay on the jetty for some tan. After a while, i felt something sticky on my legs and i realised i had cuts all over them. The blood was flowing everywhere... gosh. Anyway, the rest of the girls came to join us at the jetty and it was only until a super irritating cruise came and destroyed our fun. Oh well...
The sun's so good

After a quick shower, we drove to the old town of Kotor, had lunch and explored the town a bit.

We decided to climb up the fortification. The fortification was like a miniature version of Great Wall of China. After an hour of toil under the relentless hot sun, we made it to the top and the view was simply fantastic.

Getting down from the top

We got down, bought drinks from the supermarket, and took a cab back to the hotel. The girls were pretty mad to want to plunge into the sea right outside our hotel. Oh well, so i took some really candid shots of them doing stupid things like what's shown below. We slept early for the night to prepare for our journey tomorrow into Dubrovnik.
